We're starting a new round~! If anyone's interested. :O This time, Kura-chan'll start it off, so the card will ultimately go back to her. (Kura-chan was picked because I assigned all of the previous participants random numbers, then grabbed someone out of FB chat to pick a number, and she picked 4, which was Kura-chan. xD) For those of you who might be reading this for the first time... First of all, the first person on the list will have to get hold of a card (preferably larger than usual, but it doesn't have to be kick-ass huge) and maybe label it on the inside with their name (real or online handle) so receivers know which card they have to send on. Senders may choose to include a second card, which can be kept by the receiving party (so everyone gets a little something out of the send-along). This is entirely OPTIONAL. NO items/money may be included in the envelope. Only the card, or a letter, or another card. Do not even enclose bookmarks. We want to minimize the chances of the card being stolen as much as possible. D: Mini FAQ-type thing, because rage-chan just wanted to make one even though everyone knows what she's talking about: 1. What can I put into the envelope? The card you have to send on. You may also choose to put a letter (that's for the person next-in-line), or a second card (also for the person next-in-line). 2. Do I have to put a second card in? No, you don't, but rage-chan thought it'd be nice if everyone got something out of this (even if Kura-chan is the one getting the card that's being passed around xD). So the envelope can contain, for example, two cards (one that's being passed around and one the previous person has so kindly given to you) or a card and a letter (and the letter's yours to keep). 3. What can I not put into the envelope? Money, gifts, basically anything that looks remotely stealable. D: 4. How long can I keep the card before sending it on? Anywhere between two to five days, I would think that's reasonable? *tilt head* 5. When does it start? March 2010, maybe? :P Whenever Kura-chan posts it. 6. How do I contact the person who's organizing this? That would be me, rage-chan. Simply email her, PM her on FF.net, post a comment here...they all eventually trail into my inbox, and I check my mail every day. xD 8. *reads everything* Sooo....what do I do with the card, again? Have you received a suspiciously marked card in your post? That's the one. :D Simply write something in it - can be something random, something goofy, nothing kinky, a message, or whatever you feel like writing. Feel free to squeeze in a novel if you desire, providing you leave some space for the next person. :P And then send the card on its way to the next person on the list! Oh, and keep an eye out for specially marked cards/letters that has your name on it. FIRST OF ALL I want to give everyone who participated in this a huuuuge hug and lots of cuddles and kisses. We must do this again, only with someone else. And expect me to come knocking on your door somewhere for your address so I can send you a thank-you card. :D But on to the pictures! All pictures come in links in case they stretch the page. ;P Also included will be Bane-dane's early, early, early birthday card! *lots of hugs* Envelope! Looking suspiciously normal and slightly battered ..and opened, bursts out into colour! :O Post-its removed ..here's page one... ...and page 2! Somehow, I found ezyl's comment of somehow ending up on top hilarious. xD The coloured post-its, which has a message to everyone from awin. If you want your post-its I can include it to you along with your thank-you card. ;P Gira Gira yellow post-its? I looove you guys so much. *flails* I'm sending out thank-you cards, so I'll get around to prying addresses out of those people whose addresses I don't have yet. Thank you for this wonderful card! ...that my cards are mostly very plain and rather drab. o.o; I started doing Bane-dane's card last night, but somehow it turned into Rea's card when I stared at it in the middle of crafting and went..."That's Rea..." because it reminded me of her. n_n; I'm sorry, Bane-dane, but I will do yours tonight? xDD Because I -think- the pictures are rather big and will stretch the page, I'll just link to them instead. For those who didn't know, I was shut off from the internet for the past a week and a half, and, being very bored, started making cards. To cut a long story short abruptly, I've found that I really enjoy making cards, even though I suck at designs. So if anyone would like me to make a card and send it your way (or scan/take photos of it and email it to you if you can't give out your address) I'd love to make one. C: It can be for your birthday, new year, Christmas, anything. xD Even if Christmas is 10 months away (or 2 months past). Just tell me what occasion, so I know what to write, any favourite/disliked colours (I'll refrain from using black unless you mention it's okay, but black really is wonderful for mixing colours) etc etc. xD It'll probably be flower-themed (since I'm working on a flower-themed-something for awin's monthly card adventures) but...yeah. I'm really itching to try some new card-making techniques and stuff that I just bought. xD Oh, and if you'd like me to send one of my failures (cards on which I failed to make exactly what I wanted to) I could send one of those, plus a nicer card? :o Or should I just send photos of those? xD So, to sum things up. 1. I'm making hand-made cards. 2. Which I can send to you. Either with/out a message, depending on whether you want to send it to someone else. xD 3. Tell me your favourite colours, or any colours you don't want me to use. 4. Tell me if you'd rather get it via post, or just photos of the card if you can't give out your address. 5. ...Add any random notes for me, I guess? o_o My cards aren't awfully pretty, and I still need to get examples up for you (but I can't currently since they're sitting in the camera) but...yeah.
